The Art of Opening
Specializing in high-end door manufacturing and bespoke commissions, Lin Yang Doors has launched an exclusive cross-disciplinary collaboration with artist Cheng Tsung FENG. Viewing doors as a form and medium of artistic creation, they have co-created a limited-edition series of art doors where each piece is entirely unique and challenges traditional boundaries. The debut of this collaboration is showcased at the Experience Life expo under the curatorial theme "The Art of Opening," on display for a limited time at Booth E072 in the ICC Tainan (07/02–07/05).
In their inaugural collaborative art door, "On My Way Home," the artist invites patrons to provide a location of profound personal significance—be it a current residence, a childhood home, an alma mater, or a nostalgic amusement park. Utilizing the address and GPS coordinates of the chosen location, the artist extracts digital satellite topography data spanning a radius of several kilometers, which the team at Lin Yang Doors then carves into a solid wood sculptural door, positioning a pointer-shaped door handle precisely at the relative location of the coordinates. Every time this sculptural door is opened, it serves not only as a physical entryway but also as a symbolic threshold connecting the individual to that deeply cherished memory.
The exhibition also features an extensive display of scaled situational environments and character models that articulate the diverse meanings and imaginative possibilities of doors in daily life, showcasing Lin Yang Doors' decades of refined door-making expertise and their advanced capability in diverse materials, processing techniques, and high-end customization.

專注於高階門扇製作與委託訂製的霖陽設計工程，開啟與藝術家范承宗的跨界獨家合作。他們將門視為一種藝術創作的形式與載體，共同打造挑戰傳統、限量版次、每件皆獨一無二的系列藝術門扇作品。合作成果首次於《2026好感空間展》曝光，以《The Art of Opening》為策展主題，於大台南會展中心 E072 展位（07/02–07/05）限時展出。
在他們的第一個跨界合作藝術門扇作品《On My Way Home》中，藝術家邀請委託者提供一個在自己心中有重要意義的地點，或許是現在的居所、故鄉的老家，或是母校、兒時記憶的遊樂園……藝術家根據地點的地址與 GPS 座標，擷取數公里範圍內的衛星地貌數位資訊，由霖陽設計工程團隊雕刻製作成實木雕塑門扇，並將指針造形門把安排在該地點的相對位置。每一次開啟這扇門扇雕塑，除了打開現實空間的入口，也彷彿連結記憶裡那個寶貴的所在。
展覽中也陳列了大量門扇的縮比情境與角色模型，表現門扇在生活中的各種意義與想像，呈現霖陽設計工程累積數十年的精緻造門經驗，與精通各式材質、加工工藝與高階客製化的資深實力。
