Collection of Mountains
Taiwanese artist Cheng Tsung Feng always focuses on traditional handcrafted culture. For this installation artwork at the airport, he used a kind of book binding method with a long history which called “Chinese Stitched Binding” to make a large number of handmade books in various sizes. He collected these books on a huge bookcase to form the shape of eight world-famous mountains. The light in the bookcase follows the time of each mountain. When the tourist looks up on it, they can see the mountains and the sky of their destination, start to imagine here and there, looking forward to move on and back home.

藏山
一針一線，一晝一夜，以萬卷書，砌萬里路。
藝術家范承宗以傳統中式線裝結合數位軟體運算來詮釋高山衛星3D模型，裝幀起尺寸不同且為數龐大的手工線裝書，他將這些書冊收藏在一牆巨大的書櫃上，集結成八座世界高山的模樣，每格書櫃裡的光影變化正反映著當地的晝夜時刻，當旅人們抬頭仰望，能見到目的地的山景與天色印象，想著這裡和那裡，期待著終要歸去或即將出發。
