Lunar Sea
The most familiar images of moon for residents in Taiwan might be those nights the moon light are reflected on the offing. Artist Cheng Tsung FENG roasted the bamboo and transformed the shape freely in hand. By knotting and combining a large number of shaped-bamboos together, stream, lightness, transparent those figures are express in this sculpture. It float in air as a full moon rising up in night and shining on the offing.

月光海
映射在海面上的月光，是居住在台灣的島民所熟悉的月亮模樣之一。藝術家范承宗以他擅長的竹雕塑手法，將台灣的竹子以手工火烤後自由塑形，大量隨機彎曲的竹片凝結在一起，形成流動、輕盈、透明的表情，它懸浮在空中，如一輪緩緩升起的滿月，在海面上映照出淋漓的波光。
